Some of us go by the rule “A place for everything, and everything in its place”, while others feel like they don’t mind having their home somewhat cluttered. While this is completely up to you, if you are planning on selling your home, you might want to go out of your comfort zone and keep things more orderly than you normally would.
Why is that?
Having a cluttered home could play a role in whether a prospective buyer will want to buy your house or not.
Consider this: When taking a tour of your home, clutter could make your home look smaller than it actually is, and it could also make it feel less inviting. If you have a lot of things piled up in your garage, it could give the impression that there isn’t enough storage space in the house.
Clutter also provides excellent spots for rodents and other pests to nest.
